Captain (Retired) Dato Paduka Haji Abd Rahman bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar assumed the post as Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Defence on 21 November 2016.
Born on 26 July 1966, Dato Paduka Abd Rahman joined as a recruit of RBAF intake 64 in August 1984. He served as a military officer for over 31 years until he retired and was appointed as the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Development) of the Ministry of Defence on 20 June 2016.
He is married to Datin Hajah Jonaidah binti Haji Ahmad and they are blessed with 5 children. |
